Watching the waves

I haven't been posting blips recently due to a shoulder injury, and I was home from work today for the same reason. But I used the opportunity to head to the Bay to see what shorebirds are around now. I think this is a plover (might be a sandpiper), and since it was high tide, he seemed to be watching the water come in.


I also considered posting this butterfly but decided to welcome the new birds with this blip.
