Mama Javalina and Her Baby

Javalinas travel in packs throughout my neighborhood. In the mornings they make a stop at my water fountain and all take turns drinking. They look like pigs but they are of the Peccary Family. Very destructive and love to eat cactus. Mom is about two feet tall. My home has a four foot wall around my patios which keeps them out of my gardens.
