Eklutna

Another great day, so another drive in the Little Red Car.


Eklutna Lake is 20 miles northeast of Anchorage. It is the fresh water resource for the city. The water level looks low here today. I guess the Anchoragites have been thirsty!

Oh, not much green up here! It's about 2000 feet above sea level, so about 8 degrees cooler than the valley.
