Masked Lapwing Baby.

All week I've been taking photos of a Masked Lapwing (or Plover as we generally call it) which is nesting in our car park, but then somethins else has come up so I haven't posted it.

But today at the cemetery I saw this deadbaby Plover. No idea how it died as it's not a really newborn, as it was quite large. But it's parents were around, and kept dive bombng me as I got close to it. And they are a bit scary when they do that.

So after taking this I made a hasty retreat to the car.
