Countryside Station

We had to travel to Yamaguchi-City again, and after we had sorted out what we had to do, we went up to Tsuwano. This was to take about 90 minutes but we had a timetable malfuction (sounds a little better than cockup). The train we were on terminated just outside Yamaguchi-City and we were left waiting for another hour for the next train.

As it was late afternoon we went off to find somewhere to get a coffee. We made sure that we were back at the station in good time, and sat in the waiting room. You can see a bookshelf by the door to the platform. You could help yourself to a book to read on your journey. I imagine it was aimed at locals, so they would get the book back again. It was well stocked, so looked like they got the books back again.
