Major Tom
This is the second in my series of 'Little Known Facts' (see 25/9 for #1) ...
Do you remember the satellite 'the size of a bus' that was due to re-enter our atmosphere and crash to Earth, according to the experts at NASA, 'somewhere' (comforting eh?). http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-15021323
Well, I'm not sure if this was the driver or the conductor of the 'bus' in question, but this poor chap landed in a field nearby and clearly hadn't survived the trauma of the journey through our atmosphere - at least he appeared to have died with a smile on his face - or is it a grimace?
He was still clutching a copy of the Wall-E dvd which he obviously treasured.
Sad or what?
