Mutant Triffid

This is a public service announcement, please be aware that Mutant Triffids are roaming the woods at Oldown. I had a lucky escape today, but those of you less fit, agile and supple than me (that is a VERY small pool) will fall prey to this dangerous, carnivorous species.

In other exciting news... today I have spent mainly up a ladder, scuffing my hands and knees on roofing felt. 'Bitchumen' that's what the damn stuff should be called - it sticks to everything except roofing felt.

Next time I am going to use Golden Syrup, it is a lighter colour, smells nicer and it will be much more fun getting it off my body afterwards.
