October...really?

I have seen more bare bodies on the beach today than I did all summer! Every car park in town is full to the brim; the queues at the ice cream stalls are too ridiculous to even think about joining, and the beach huts are all fully occupied. All very peculiar; particularly wading through piles of fallen leaves in your flip flops!
