Train Show.

Every year, at the beginning of October, our local model train club hosts an open show. Other clubs bring along layouts which are more or less portable and a number of traders also bring their stock along and join the fun.
This shot is a kind of an over-view of one of my favourite layouts this year, Burlington Central, from Perth. For the techies, this is in "N" gauge and is set in western USA. Great long trains crossing spindly looking trestle bridges. All that was missing was a guest appearance by "Casey" Jones!
This is dedicated to the memory of my friend and fellow train guy, Gavin, 1936 - 2011, whose memorial service we attended this morning.
