UNEXPECTED

I bet when these people signed up to do a sponsored walk in fancy
dress for 5 miles along the seafront on October 1st, they didn't
expect the temperature to be in the 20s (or 80s in old money). And we
didn't expect to meet a group of them while taking a constitutional in
the opposite direction. They told us it was to raise money for a local
boy with leukaemia, so good luck to them, and I'm sure they needed a long
cold drink by the time they got to the marina. They certainly deserved
it.
