Dog Decisions....

How much trouble can one stray Staffy cause? The answer is a lot.

For ages now Lizzie and I have too'd and fro'd with the idea of getting a dog. Our main concern is intigrating one with the cats and the potential conflicts this could cause.

So where does the stray Staffy come in? Well for half an hour or so this morning we adopted a dog that had obviously lost its owner. It wandered into our garden, we played with it, fed it then shrugged our shoulders and frowned in sync as its owner came and collected it. On the back of this we went for a walk on the beach and agreed there would be no harm in going to the Cat and Dog Shelter just to get it out of our systems.

Among loads of unsuitable dogs - Staffies, Greyhounds, Mastiffs - a particularly wimpy looking Collie peered out at us.....bollocks!!!!

Right age, right size, right sex and possibly right temprement. So we're going back tomorrow to give it her, a walk and introduce ourselves. Then we've got a decision to make!!!!
