Saxaphone Up Close

Great day! Been on a beginners photography course and was instructed to go photograph part way through the day with the intention of evaluating shots on return. Cheekily, I popped into the 'sale' section of a shop during the time and was then worried about catching any great shots.

Luckily, I came across this guy (later found outhis name- Chris) and asked if he minded me photographing him. No he didn't, but he did mind all other photographers who shot him without asking him! We chatted for about 20 minutes and I experimented with my new found app on compact: the digital macro. Love it!

My shot is really up close and includes Chris' fingernails- nice! But the colours are ace and I like the reflection of my camera in the larger part of the saxaphone!

Learnt many lessons today: biggest one of which was ask permission to take pics of people! And enjoy the long chats that follow!
