Improvisation

I was out at the front of the house tidying up the flower border and allowed the kids to play in my car to keep them occupied and at least keep an eye on them. However, having probably irritated the entire neighbourhood by repeatedly slamming the car doors, I threw them out and locked the car.

Having got back to my gardening duties, I checked up on them a few minutes later to discover that they had decided to improvise and, if they are not allowed to use my car, they would just go ahead and make their own. I believe that this is an improvised remake of our Galaxy as there are three rows of seats (although I do not recall room for a buggy in the front row but let's not stifle artistic expression) and room for bikes at the back.

I used to be like this as a child and used to make my version of various things that I would have loved to own but we couldn't afford, e.g. my drum kit made of a selection of boxes, each with a different tone.
