Blooming cactus
The saguaro cactus in bloom is an interesting sight....a tall spiny trunk with arms projecting from it and beautiful blooms on the tip of each arm. My daughter tells me that the saguaro doesn't grow arms until it is 50-100 years old, so this particular speciman must be at least middle aged. Here in the Sonoran Desert is the only place in the world where these plants grow.
