St Sepulchre's Cemetery
Mr K and I went to Oxford today without the kids for a birthday treat. The day started with beer and a Club Sandwich at Mal Maison, followed by a walk to a lovely cafe in a church garden for smoothies and coffee, followed by a walk to the Ashmoleon where we settled into deckchairs on the grass roof terrace for mojitos.
What a fabulous day!!!
On the way home we called into St Sepulchre's Cemetery in Jericho. It was built to cope with the deaths from the Cholera epidemic and I have never seen so many graves crammed together in such a small space. It was glorious in the evening light - just us and the squirrels and a few hundred ghosts enjoying the sunshine.
