Flint Knapping

Not really an October Origins blip but this place is special to me, but I really couldn't tell you why. There's a holy well on one side of the river where one of our old dogs would try to catch the water pouring out of a spout with her teeth. She seems to think the stream of water was a solid and just couldn't understand why it was so elusive. I can also remember being here with my oldest nephew when he was a child and my late father. Its a tiny place, all cream teas and coracles, but it attracts loads of visitors due to the 'Falls' in the River Teifi here where salmon leap. I've been here any number of times throughout the year and haven't seen a trout being tickled let alone a salmon leaping, but it happens frequently apparently :)
