London From Above

On the return flight from Faro to Luton today we flew over London on the hottest day in October on record and consequently we had this amazing view over the city. You can clearly see Battersea Park next to the Thames, Hyde Park with the Serpentine Lake in the middles, and Buckingham Palace with it's neighbouring parks. Those with an eye for detail will spot the iconic circle of the London Eye in the middle of the shot.

It was a great holiday and very nice to return home to similar conditions, long may it continue.
