Bring Me Sunshine

This is Dad and Benny wondering where the heat wave is. It's been a balmy 15 degrees today and horrendously wet. After a quick walk at Daviot, we came home to dry out in front of the heater. Later on, Mum, Rory and I went into town to have a cuppa in Inverness Museum. It's been a while since I last looked at the exhibits there and I had great fun trying on the replica bracelet (which was far too big and heavy for any part of my arms) and the Torvean Chain is something else! I wonder who on earth had the strength to wear that necklace (it's 2.88 kg).

At the Art Gallery, we watched the kinetic theatre of Sharmanka, which was fascinating and a little sinister. It featured quite a few carved mice so that kept me happy.

Once home after hiding from the rain in the Eastgate Centre, I tackled an old photo album. Some of the photos are starting to fade so I'm capturing them before they go. It's interesting to hear the stories behind the pictures from mum and dad. I remember odd bits and pieces, but I'm only three in this particular album so the events I remember are fairly limited and generally confined to my cuddly toys and Weebly treehouse.
