You lookin' at me?
The most stupidly hot October day I've ever known. It was most odd to feel the sun beating down on my skin as the temperature nudged toward 30 degrees while every flutter of the hot breeze brought cascades of dead brown leaves from the trees.
Did some exploratory wandering for just over 2 miles near my home, just noseying footpaths I've never checked out before. Half way round and I was wishing I'd got a cold drink. And, frankly, a shower. Find of the day was a farm shop, down a lane that's less than a mile from my home, selling all the veg you could ever wish for. I like the thought of cutting out the retail giants and buying from the local grower. One good way of reducing your carbon footprint too. Yes, the picture is entirely incidental to the tale. I'm just fond of curious cattle.
