A berry bright morning

A bit of a dull old morning, drizzly & grey, berries in a bright red bowl to pick us up.

The blackberries say autumn is here but raspberries keep a hint of summer ( though this is increasingly slight). Dark getting up this morning, it is the start of the long winter I think. Fallen leaves are plentiful but have lost their crunch, a sloppy, slippy hazard now.

Still bright red & purple berries for breakfast to lift the spirits ( & if theory is right also our flagging immune systems). Superfoods indeed.
