Sometimes it's better......

....to just leave well alone.....y'know, if it's not broke don't fix it....unless you're a film producer of course......

OK, it's a bit of a cop-out blip-wise today, a pic of the opening credits of the original BBC/TTSS series from 1979 (currently playing on a laptop near me). I went to see the 'new' film version yesterday and all I can say is 'hmmmmmm'. Don't get me wrong, if I hadn't seen the original I would have enjoyed it more....it was well cast, there was some great acting and it was well shot but (and it's a very big BUT), there's just too much story and character development to shoehorn into 2 hours I'm afraid......it didn't work for me.

So today (seeing as it's raining) I'll be watching the original 6 hour-long episodes (a positive bargain at £4.87, Im sure my 5-year-old well-worn DVD set cost considerably more!) back-to-back to restore the remembered magic!
