Tangled Up In Blue

I've got a nice set of bookends, which look like rock on the outside but which reveal themselves to be crystal on the inside, with beautifully coloured strata. This blip is my attempt to capture their flow.

(I also tried them out in black & white, where they look like electron micrographs...too cool!)
