Swimming in October

There was swimming in October and little girls climbing trees. There was a BBQ and eleven people around the outdoor table fighting over the shade. There was birthday cake for Rob and a Cocker Spaniel jumping in the pool (which I wasn't entirely sure about). The space hoopers popped and the Tibetan Terrier fell in the pool and didn't like it. There was a Rosy Ruby permanently on my hip, much bossing around and jelly beans exchanged for photos. It was a summer day in October and I will remember it for a long time.
