Wheeeeeeeee!

One thing I didn't mention yesterday was that as an early christmas present and because Nairn very rarely gets new things Nairn got his first big bike.

Vonnie mentioned yesterday that he'd effectively taught himself to ride his old wee bike last week. He'd struggled for ages with stabillisers on his wee 14" bike for ages and just couldn't get the hang of cycling without them before we moved house. I think he just got fed up watching the boy across the road that is younger than him fly up and down all day on two wheels. He picked up his trusty bike, got his stabilisers off and within the hour he was cycling up and down the street.

You can imagine our disbelief yesterday when we took him to get measured for the bike and found that our five year old needed a bike that normally fits 7-9 years olds.

Anyway we built the bike up today and he got is first run out on it after a day of rain just before the street lights came on. My first attempts at a panning shot didn't quite come out right but I'm told practice makes perfect :)
