Lacy Lady's Mantle

My Uncle Jim gave me a cutting of this over 30 years ago and since losing the one other plant he gave me in last year's winter, I am so glad that this one did os well this year. It is Lady's Mantle or Alchemilla Mollis, but it has a silver frill round its edge and it very beautiful - and seems to have no flowers!

A hot autumnal day with rain and mizzle - worked this morning and had an afternoon with Catherine Cookson (the ultimate in laziness) and attempting the sock heel again - will let you know!

Another X Factor evening then Downton Abbey. For someone who did not watch TV from May to the beginning of September, I see to be making up for my absence!!!
