Mother-Daughter

Two beautiful people in every way. My niece Theresa and her daughter Ashley. The final preparations were made and we celebrated Ashley's champagne brunch and bridal shower today. What a beautiful and strong young woman she is and so supportive and loving to Dan "the groom", who is away in Afghanistan, serving our country. It was so lovely to meet Dan's family and see how they just love Ashley, and embrace the two of them as a couple.

As for me... how could it not be a great birthday, spending it with such fantastic women, family and friends? I so appreciate all of the birthday calls and greetings from my family and friends on fb. Thank you to everyone. The peach mimosas (yes, plural) were great, too!
