Giving this a go...

Hot, hot, hot

The hardest race I've done. It was very hot and for at least 8 of the 10k the sun was beating down on us. And 1 of the km in the shade was up a big hill.
And I went too fast at the start so got hotter even quicker.
My shins were ok (took ibuprofen before tho) but I felt tired all the way round. I usually run in the evening and haven't raced in that temp before so my time suffered. Nearly 4 mins slower than my pb.

Then this aft I did a 17 mile (just over an hour) cycle in preparation for a duathlon in 3 weeks.

Then I got dragged out for another slower 5 mile cycle with the boys.
