The Wildnerness

On early maps everything west of the Ohio River was described as "The Wildnerness". Until the exploation party headed by Lewis & Clark the maps just showed a tan, blank field.
This view overlooks the Ohio River into the state of Ohio ( which, by the way, does not own the river).
