Resting at Hornsea Mere

After a gorgeous roast dinner, I went out for a drive to Hornsea Mere. It's such a gorgeous place and a natural mere, 2 miles long a mile wide. It's only appx 8' deep! Been around since the ice age and now a haven for bird life and yachting folk.

It's a lovely spot to take out a rowing boat too, but today I just had an icecream, bought some birdfeed and took lots of shots. Picked this one for todays blip...
