Will it BE a good night?

So we have agreed as the dog is getting on a bit now he can come up stairs and sleep with us. (It's become a bit of a struggle lately to get him to go to bed in his bed downstairs). The rules are that there will be no slapping of chops which he tends to do and that he keeps off my side! I think, he thinks, that he will blend in with the bed covers and I will forget he is there......
