Wawel Hill, Krakow, Poland

I have been in Poland since last Wednesday, and returned safely today. Taken in haste this morning, with the mist still hanging over the Cathedral and Royal Castle on Wawel Hill. I've had a wonderful time with friends, so many special memories of life here.

A quality buffet breakfast with lots of traditional Polish food, and then a speedy taxi to the airport. We left 26C behind us, and arrived in Edinburgh to find mist and rain.

Back to reality on the M8, catching up with life back home, loading up the washing machine and preparing for the new week ahead.
