Out for a drive

Sunday afternoon driving is something people did in the 1950's but we took mum on a drive today, back past a house she once owned in a timber town called Jarrahdale, not far from the city. Neither mum nor I really recognized the house which was overgrown and neglected, but we all enjoyed afternoon tea at a little cafe with a wide verandah, in the centre of town.
