Posing on the Pier

I have been for a lovely walk with mum and the new camera this morning!

After a big run in the secret field to "let off some of my energy" we went down to the lovely pier where we live. Mum said I that I had to be on my best behaviour as it is a very nice peaceful pier with lots of fishermen, so I wasn't allowed to get up to any "nonsense" and get us thrown off!

I LOVED the pier. It is very wierd, you can see through the floor to the sea underneath! I was a bit freaked out to start with and threw myself down to try and get through the gaps into the sea for a swim!

Then we walked all the way to the end. I sat up on the benches to the side a few times. I liked hanging my head over the edge and sniff, sniff, sniffing the air! It was lovely and mum rested her head next to mine so we both sniffed the air and watched the birds whilst she whispered in my ear.

Then I got a bit freaked out by one of the fisherman's boxes of tricks. I woofed at it and then threw myself at the fisherman for a cuddle! The fisherman was lovely, he smelt GORGEOUS! I rolled on my back and he tickled my tummy. Then another fisherman came over and tickled me too. Mum tried to walk on but I didn't want to move so I stayed there on my back until a few more fishermen came over to tickle me!

Then I had a bit of a woofing at some of the lights. They looked like balloons floating there above my head. Just freaky!

At the end of the pier, mum and I sat in the shelter in the sun for a bit before we headed back. I posed for lots of shots but I had to keep my silly halti lead on incase I made a run for it, so I am sorry that I don't look as pretty as normal!

Mum says that it is the last day of sunshine so we will go out again later to catch some more before it disappears.
