now it's a beauty salon.

This typifies the great social change that has happened across Wales over the last half century.

I want to introduce a new Index: it is the ratio of chapels to curry restaurants in a town.

When i was growing up in Bangor in the 70s there were still a lot of chapels: about 22 I would think and a few Indian restaurants probably about 6 making the Index a 3.6.

Now there are about 9 chapels and 10 Indian restaurants giving us an index of 0.9.
