Finished and Beginning

Last night I finished my brown pair of socks! This was a new pattern--I enjoyed doing the twists! I now get to start a new pair--my good friend Linda wants me to make her a new Christmas sock like the white one in the picture, but make it out of the Christmasy red yarn! I'm excited--that little sock has a cable in the pattern, so I will get to learn another new thing!

This morning at 5:30 a.m. I woke up to a sound I couldn't identify. As I laid there listening, I decided those pesky deer must be munching my cleaned out raspberry patch--no more old canes--only new delicious ones! I was thoroughly embarrassed to find that the sound I heard was rain falling from the roof--I'm blaming everything on the deer! It is time to "get a grip, Sandra!!!"
