Colour-coded bumpers

P.C.L. Halpenny was the first person on his street to own a car with "colour-coded bumpers", when they first became available in Dun Laoghaire in 1987
He is a man of taste.
His son was at the time going through a rebellious phase. He was listening to the Sisters of Mercy and wearing dark eye make-up.
He has since come to his senses and has joined his dad?s solicitor?s practice.
He drives a black convertible 640i. When he is feeling rebellious, he listens to the Clash ("I practice the law and... the law won!")
