Holding on to the last rays of summer

I've been rushing about like the proverbial B A F today, so not a lot of time for photos or writing, but I insisted to myself that I made time to walk out to the fields to watch the sun set.

There were very long mares tail clouds heralding a change in the weather, after the beautiful week we've had.

I balanced my camera on a fence post and put it on timer to take this, but the sun sank so quickly I didn't have a chance to line it up any better.

Settling down to do some more work now but will catch up on my commenting later on.
