Million/Billion is a band who preformed in Denver last summer. At the time I was working the floor in the Apple Store and I approached one of the guys asking if they needed help. Very cute, might I add. In the end they mentioned they were playing that evening and gave me a flyer. I decided to go alone, because it was an on-a-whim kind of night. It turned out they were driving around the country in their rented van playing shows and gaining attention. I was the sole person at their show that night at Bender's Tavern. Comical, sure, but worth it, of course. They laughed it off and pretended it was in a sense a practice session. I sat in a backwards chair in the middle of the small venue and had an excellent time. A few passerby's came in, but it sounds cooler to say I was the only person who came. At the end of the night, I bought their album for an easy $10 and talked about music. I've kind of followed their ever so growing success since then and claim a little bit of that "I knew them first" mentality so many people love to lay stakes on. So now, they have their official album in stores and I saw it here. If you are such a music buff, as I am, this piece of music is quite good. Listen-to-the-whole-thing good and well worth the download or the buy. Besides, it feels special to take home an album and unwrap the packaging. What you will soon find is another quality addition to your collection.
Hooray for good music. It keeps my world going around.
