Nesssaintee's World

By nesssaintee

A moody Monday

Not a brilliant day, but it's my first back at work after taking a two week break
It's been a long trying day, sunny mostly, with a cold south westerly breeze, then some rather spectacularly heavy rain showers.
Work place brings more bad news, with more colleagues, leaving or have been made redundant :-(
My week will be a long and busy one, so much to do, so little time to do it all.
But that's life at the pointy end of the stick I suppose
Apologies for mooning at you all again, just couldn't resist snapping it this evening when I got home.
The three prominent craters near the top of the image are from top to bottom, Aristoteles, Eudoxus and Alexander
The plain area below is Mare Serenitatis (The sea of serenity), to the lower right of that is the Taurus - Littrow Valley, the landing site of Apollo 17, the last manned visit to the lunar surface.
Magnificent desolation :-)
