One small step for toddler kind...

If you'd have told me a year ago that I would have posted so many pictures of Miss42 on the stairs I'm not sure I would have believed you.

I am pretty sure this won't be the last.

Perhaps not the best pic - but had to be this for posterity. Miss42 walking down the stairs by herself. Still a bit shaky but she can do it.

Its part of a whole new climbing/mountaineering vibe that she's got going on. Last week I was running her bath and tidying up in her room when I heard:

"Hiya" from the bathroom. "Hiya, I'll be there is a minute", I replied.

"Hiya, Hiya"

"Hi - I'll be there in a minute"

"Hiya, Hiya, Hiya"

So I went through to the bathroom and she's standing ON the toilet (having used the potty as a step) with her arms in the air like she's the toilet climbing champion.

Every day since she's climbed up something new/different/higher.
