Procession of judges

The start of the new legal year, the Michaelmas sittings is marked with a procession of the judges from Westminster Abbey to The Houses of Parliament where the Lord Chancellor hosts a reception. The judges had earlier arrived from the Royal Courts of Justice to attend a service in Westminster Abbey.
