San Jaun Island - R&R

Well this isn't my normal post all things river related but I thought some would appreciate. We spent the weekend out on the west side San Juan Island for some well need rest and relaxation. As a bonus we got to see some resident orcas and porpoise from our deck. The orcas tend to congregate in this area as the sea currents form a big upwelling area which supports a host of sea life and coincidentally salmon which the orcas like to eat...
