This canal side walk is usually heaving but today desolate.
Jane was looking for presents for Jessica and Amie as its their birthdays this week and shops like BHS , Dunnes even Asda which are normally good for kids clothes have virtually nothing on the rails, strange with winter approaching.
Looks like they cant shift the stock they have and its not exactly expensive stuff.
I am glad I am retired but dont like the age bit lol
I feel for my 2 daughters and all other young folks trying to earn a crust and keep a roof over their heads.
But "we are all in it together"
I had better stop now as I can feel the anger rising.
I have not had the telly on during the day all week as Tory party conferences should have a health warning
