Sandals drying in sunlight in the souk. I'd been past this same door earlier in the day. Must be my favourite door!

We spent most of the day going round the souks. It was chaotic inside - so many stalls and people trying to sell you things - I learnt not to lok at anything too long as if anyone noticed you paying particular attention to anything they would immediately swoop on you and try to sell you it. Must say my pink hair was a nice distraciton - as you walk past each shop, the sellers have roughly two seconds for their sales pitch to grab you into you shop - some of them spent their alloted time saying 'nice hair'!. They don't follow you unlike the sellers in ouside of the souks - and surprisingly are quite happy for you to just say hello and move on. The colours were just stunning - if I'd gone back a second time I probably would have spent more time taking pictures than just wandering about - the slippers particularly made an impression on me.

We then tried to find our way to the tanneries. We were trying to find it by ourselves, however it's just not possible to take out a map without a man coming up to you to give directions and then try to show you! We eventually got there and got a tour round telling us about the leather making process.

On our way back we went to the Ben Youssef Madrasa - an Islamic college. The decorations inside were stunning - but there wasn't really much information about the place other than that it was a college.

Later on in the evening we went out to the pub quiz that we'd been invited on... lets just say it was a top night, and that we suffered for it the next day. Wouldn't change a thing!
