World Animal Day

I thought I was going to photograph some Cleveland Bay horses today, but when I turned up it turns out that the owner had sold up and moved away a year or so ago. I had wanted to photograph them for World Animal Day, so I drove on to Reybridge where I knew I would find some horses that graze in the field beside the Avon. This one proved the friendliest, in fact the main problem was keeping her far enough away from the lens to focus.

Of course, I couldn't celebrate World Animal Day without an appearance from Smokey, so he is an added Extra.
