It's a Family Affair
An emergent blip today, as there has been nothing inspiring happened. Sad news for all sweet lovers today. The Highland Candy factory in Stenhousemuir closed with the loss of 100 jobs. Highland Candy is famous in Scotland and across The U.K. It is, or should I say was? a hard chewy candy; like the kind you would use a hammer on. Not a claw hammer, a small candy hammer.
The wrapping had a picture of a highland cow on it, although where it was made is nowhere near the Highlands.
In the North East it was colloquially known as Coo Candy.
Today's blip is a photo of a photo that was taken during the summer of my Stevaan, our son, and Janine, our daughter, and their families on holiday in MacDuff .
