The lady on the wall

Taking a walk on Laurier street, I decided to photograph a mural I walk by and see all the time but never really stopped to look at. Somehow I seem to have seen it better through the lense. The mural was made by Monk.E a graffiti artist. See another work here. and hip-hop rapper from Montreal. www.monk-e.ca. The mural was done with the participation of a youth group from the YMCA in my area with funding by the province and the city. It enlivens the neighbourhood of Plateau Mont-Royal, just next to mine of Outremont. The fun part is that it incorporates some weeds or green plant growing on the pavement along the wall. I will try to show that from closer later.
