Jurassic Ark

A much improved day here weather wise. This afternoon I cycled from the hostel, through Motueka town centre, along the Wharf Road and along the water front.

As I was passing by the sea I spotted this wreck, the Janie Sneddon, lying not very far offshore. What first struck me about it was the unusual line of erosion above the water line. From certain angles it looked like the boat was sporting teeth, like a shark or T. Rex.

Of course the boat was really just an excuse to take a snap of the sky - after all the recent rain it's so great to see blue again!
