This one has legs
Tried (and failed) to photograph two buildings this evening.
The first, a particular favourite, is spectacular at night when it's flooded with beautiful lighting.
The night before I'd managed a half decent shot of it but ended up Blipping something else instead.
Today's plan - redo quick shot of building and I'm done.
Arrive at the spot to find building in total darkness. Drat!
Simple excursion then takes on a life of it's own, involving lost tourists, man with dog, missing house-keys (not mine) Garbage collection men, a guitarist and a visit to the pub - not necessarily in that order.
Sometime later, heading home, I come across another strikingly lit old building, a restaurant with its frontage highlighted in brilliant red.
At the exact second I go to press the shutter button, the restaurant is plunged into darkness.
Seems it's not called "The Witchery" for nothing.
So forget majestic floodlit buildings, have some tartan hosiery instead!
Taken 3 minutes before midnight.
