Canongate Kirk

I have blipped from this place or nearby before.

But not looking directly at the Kirk, which is not only a fine piece of architecture, but one of the historic spiritual sights of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. It looks (and feels) particularly imposing and inspiring in the late evening during autumn or winter , when the streets are quiet but the lights are still on inside.
